Hello! Welcome to the Mother Loaf Breads, a sourdough bread bakery based in Milan, Michigan. We are baking three times a week currently. Because we do a long, cold, slow-ferment, each batch of bread takes 2-3 days to produce. We also make soups, treats and sometimes specialty items like pasties, so stop by to see what we’re up to!
PLEASE NOTE: The Loaf is going on vacation! The shop will be closed Feb. 18 to Feb. 25. We will return Saturday, March 4. During that time, we will deliver to the Farmer’s Hand on Thursday, Feb. 16 and again on March 1.
