Hello! Welcome to the Mother Loaf Breads, a sourdough bread bakery based in Milan, Michigan. Because we do a long, cold, slow-ferment, each batch of bread takes 2-3 days to produce. We also make soups, treats and sometimes specialty items like pasties, so stop by to see what we’re up to!

We also make the bread for our neighbors, Original Gravity Brewing Company. They make great sandwiches!
Our bread is only for sale at our shop. We send out our menu each week, usually Friday evenings, so sign up for email updates if you’d like to get the menu in your inbox. Otherwise, we post a link to the menu on our Facebook page as well as our Twitter feed. We have a pretty kick ass Instagram too.
